At the risk of starting controversy, I'm curious what everyone likes for base and mobile antennas. I'm trying to get a better reach to the repeater nearest me with my hand-held in spite of a geographic disadvantage and ground-clutter challenges. I can Rx just fine, just need a better push to Tx up to the repeater. I have the option to mount a fiberglass whip on my 2-story house, and would love an external mobile antenna on my truck to connect to my handheld.
